The Finance Division is led by Under Secretary, comprising by three sections namely Budget, Procurement and Account. These three sections are responsible in managing financial affairs of the Ministry.The Finance Division plays an important role in preparing the budget for the Ministry, Departments and Agencies under MOSTI. This Division is also accountable in handling and processing procurement of works, supplies and services for open tender, restricted tender, quotations, direct negotiations and direct purchase. Besides that, all payments are also managed by this Division.
UNDER SECRETARY
Mr. Zalaludin bin Abdullah started his service at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) on 1st December 2006 and is currently the Under Secretary of Finance Division.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He started his service in 1983 in the government sector as Diplomatic and Administrative Officer at Ministry of Works. During his 25 years in service, he has served ministries and departments namely the Public Service Department, Ministry of Information, Prime Minister Office and Malaysian Federal Court.
